Harbor Shores represents more than just golf, it's an example of how golf can help change and sustain a community. Taking pride in our surrounding area, Harbor Shores, the only Jack Nicklaus Signature Course on Lake Michigan, is a not-for-profit development that uses a portion of your green fees to maintain Jean Klock Park and the 12-mile trail system. Revenues above operating expenses are granted back to the community for job training and educational programs.

Harbor Shores boasts the only on-site First Tee location in the Midwest and services over 1,000 youth annually. The First Tee is an organization that promotes character development and life-enhancing values through the game of golf.

In its short, 10-year lifespan, Harbor Shores has rich history of golf's greatest legends walking its links. In 2010, in commemoration of our official grand opening, Harbor Shores hosted the Champions for Change Golf Challenge where legends, Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer, Tom Watson and Johnny Miller competed together for the first and only time. You may have seen "The Putt" made by Jack Nicklaus in front of Johnny Miller, what you may not know is that was on hole 10 at Harbor Shores!

Hosting Major Champions is what we do and in 2020 Harbor Shores will host the KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship for the 5th time in 10 years.

Designed with the golf enthusiast in mind, Harbor Shores offers an exceptional practice facility complete with 2 short game greens and a lighted putting green, a Learning Center featuring Trackman technology for game improvement and club fitting, our newest addition, the Champions Villa that comfortably sleeps up to 8 guests and finally a private airport and helipad for those requiring quick and easy access.
