Description

Upon its opening in 1989 public golf in Michigan was forever changed. Pine Trace Golf Club set a standard that many have emulated but few have achieved. The first upscale public Golf Course in Southeast Michigan this Arthur Hills designed Golf Course brought many different aspects to public Golf. Professional Golf Course Architecture, High Maintenance Standards and Excellent Customer Service Standards are all hallmarks of the Pine Trace brand. From the very beginning, during the design stage the concept of this Oakland County Golf Course was unique.

A strong market existed in Southeast Michigan for a Golf Course that gave the Public a better experience. Pine Trace Golf Club filled a gap that existed between the Public Courses and Private Clubs of the time. In setting a new standard in Design, maintenance, food quality and customer service Pine Trace prominently changed the golfer's view of Public Golf. In many ways it changed the way Private Golfers viewed Club membership.
